Dave is the Managing Director of Marsh McLennan.  He is married to Julie Martin and has three children, David, Michael and Jennifer.  Dave grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana, and graduated from Louisiana State University in 1979.  He has lived in Houston since 1990, and presently serves on the Humble Independent School District's Board of Trustees, most recently as President.

Dave is a member of St. Martha Catholic Church in Kingwood, "Raise Your Hand Texas", an advocacy organization dedicated to supporting Texas Public Schools, and also is on the Education Policy/Strategic Planning Committee of the Greater Houston Partnership.
