In Houston, Texas, from July 11-15, 2014, the Transplant Games of America will host the largest contingent of individuals who have been touched by organ, eye, and tissue donation. Participants will include recipients, living donors, donor families, medical professionals, and community fans who believe in the benefits of donation.
While the events center around intense competition between over 40 teams from across the United States, all chasing the gold, silver, and bronze medals, the days and nights are filled with an array of activities that will challenge even the most energetic fan.

Any organ or bone marrow recipient, or living donor who is at least nine months out from transplantation or donation may participate in medal events. In 2014, there will be limited medal events for corneal and tissue recipients.
How can the Transplant Games help donor families?
Donor families will have the opportunity to meet other donor families and transplant recipients and participate in all special events and activities that celebrate and honor the heartfelt act of the “Gift of Life”.
What if I’m not an athlete?
Besides a host of workshops, special events, and activities for all participants, we have added new medal events for Ballroom Dancing, Texas Hold-em Poker, Trivia Challenge, Darts, and Cornhole (Bean Bag Toss).
