Rock the Cradle for Johnny Kicks Cancer

Houston’s Third Annual Rock the Cradle for Johnny Kicks Cancer.    The 2009 Rock the Cradle raised $20,000 for Johnny Kicks Cancer Foundation.   It was a fantastic success as fundraiser and professional skateboard contest.  50 of the top men and women skaters participated,drawing an estimated spectator crowd of over 2,000. Last year Pedro Barros (Brazil) Rocked the Cradle and skated away with first place.   

The 2010 event is already set up with World Cup Skateboarding for Saturday October 23rd at Houston’s Lee and Joe Jamail Skate Park.  This is the last stop on the World-Cup Concrete series and the winner of this event will decide the overall World-Cup Champion.  Moreover, this is the only World-Cup Skateboard Contest and Live Music event in TEXAS!
