The Harris County - Houston Sports Authority played an integral role in the development of the four new stadiums: Minute Maid Park, Reliant Stadium, Toyota Center, and the new Dynamo Stadium. The first 3 state-of-the-art facilities were built on time and within budget. The new stadium for the Houston Dynamo is currently being constructed and plans to be open in May 2012. Houston's venues have been heralded as one of the best in the United States.
