HOUSTON – The Harris County–Houston Sports Authority (HCHSA) Board of Directors recently took part in a comprehensive facilities tour of NRG Stadium, Daikin Park, Toyota Center, and Shell Energy Stadium, gaining a firsthand look at each venue while meeting with our valued partners—the Texans, Astros, Rockets, Dynamo, Dash, Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, and the Harris County Sports & Convention Corporation. Together, we’re exploring ways to keep these iconic venues as world-class destinations in our region. 

As stewards of Harris County and Houston’s sports infrastructure, the HCHSA and its Board play a pivotal role in fostering economic growth, enhancing community engagement, and attracting high-profile sporting events to the region through strategic investments and oversight of Harris County and Houston’s venues. The HCHSA is dedicated to the continued growth and improvement of the stadiums in an effort to reinforce the region’s reputation as a premier host for national and international sporting events.
