Newest weekly sports show debuts tonight at 7 p.m.

HOUSTON – The Harris County – Houston Sports Authority has partnered with ABC13, SportsRadio 610 and the Houston Outlaws to deliver and promote Q’D Up. – Houston’s newest weekly sports show.

Since everyone needs a little real-time sports in their lives these days and not just reruns, HCHSA’s Patti Smith has you covered every Thursday night at 7 p.m. with Q’D UP. – a local show where she gets you caught up with Houston legends as well as current players to get their thoughts are on everything from their careers to Covid-19.

It drops tonight at 7 p.m. on HoustonSports.org when Patti visits with Astros Hall of Famer Jeff Bagwell, who gives us his take everything from the current Astros team, to his greatest moments, to losing Ken Caminiti and Darryl Kile.

The partnerships allow sports fans to connect with their Houston athletes on digital, television and radio platforms as live sports remain on hold as we battle the Covid-19 global pandemic.

ABC13 will be airing clips and commentary during their news telecasts at both 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Thursday nights.

SportsRadio 610’s Seth Payne and Sean Pendergast will recap the previous night’s show on Friday mornings in the 9 a.m. hour.

In an effort to spotlight the positives of social distancing, the Houston Outlaws and HCHSA have created #GamingTogether, which gives families a chance to create videos that show families and households enjoying playing a game of their choice (video, card, etc.) together. Some of the best videos will be shown on Q’D UP.

In addition, the effort has established a platform to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network.
