Houston 2026 and British Consulate-General host EPL Watch Party

HOUSTON, TX – The Harris County – Houston Sports Authority (HCHSA) has achieved a remarkable milestone, being named the eighth best sports business city for event hosting by Sports Business Journal. This recognition highlights the exceptional efforts of the HCHSA team and further solidifies Houston’s position as a premier sports destination. 

In recent years, HCHSA has secured and hosted marquee events such as Super Bowl LI, multiple NCAA championships, and world championships, such as the World Table Tennis Championship, demonstrating the city’s status as a national and international sports hub. As a result, Houston is set to welcome a series of monumental sporting events, including the 2024 Copa América tournament, the 2025, 2027, and 2031 AAU Junior Olympic Games, the 2028 UCI BMX World Championships, and the largest sporting event in the world, the  2026 FIFA World Cup. These events are expected to attract thousands of visitors and generate substantial revenue for the city.
