NRG Stadium

NRG Stadium

NRG Stadium (formerly known as Reliant Stadium) opened its doors in 2002 and is home to the NFL's Houston Texans, the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, and sporting and entertainment events throughout the year. The stadium will host the NCAA Men's Final Four in 2016 and Super Bowl LI in 2017. Rising next to the Astrodome, a building that first brought Houston international acclaim for its vision of venue innovation, NRG Stadium (formerly known as Reliant Stadium) sets a new standard for stadium technology and comfort. The uniqueness of NRG Park is apparent in the flexibility of its venues. Each offers the opportunity to host large exhibitions, concerts, and sporting events to the most intimate gatherings. NRG Stadium, the first retractable-roof, natural grass stadium in the NFL, is home to both the Houston Texans and the world-famous Houston Livestock Show and RodeoTM. NRG Center offers 1.4 million square feet of exhibit and meeting space and is fully wired to accommodate the networking needs of their clients. NRG Arena's versatile seating configurations and adjacent exhibit space comfortably accommodate mid-scale events. For more specific information on this spectacular stadium, visit NRG Park's site.
