TRANSPORTATION

HOUSTON AIRPORT SYSTEM:

Houston is home to two commercial airports that serve an estimated 55 million passengers each year. The George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is the sixth busiest airport in the United States and the fourteenth busiest worldwide. William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) is Houston’s oldest commercial airport and provides service for six commercial airlines.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION: 

Once you have arrived in Houston, several options are available for getting around town. Here are a few helpful hints to help plan your trip.

Houston has both Uber and Lyft services available across the city. Houston’s METRORail provides easy transportation from downtown Houston through the Museum District and Medical Center to NRG Park. Houston has over 1,200 buses available through METRO with a local one-way fare of $1.25.
