THE XFL ROUGHNECKS OPEN CAMP AT UNIVERSITY OF HOUSTON

Team takes the field for first time on Thursday, December 5

Houston, Texas, December 2, 2019 – The Houston Roughnecks will open their 15-day mini-camp on Thursday, December 5 at TDECU Stadium in preparation for the 2020 season. Head coach June Jones, his coaching staff and players will conduct workouts consisting of meetings, walkthroughs, weight training and on field activities. The entirety of camp will take place at TDECU Stadium, home of the Houston Roughnecks.

The December offseason program will be broken down into phases, with Phase One and Phase Two consisting of meetings, walkthroughs and workouts. Phase Three will comprise of four days of OTA (organized team activity) practices December 12-15, and the team’s offseason program will conclude with a three-day mini-camp December 16-18.

Roughnecks players will take the field as a team on Thursday, December 5 at 3:00 PM. The 3:00 PM workout will be available to media. The full schedule for media availability during camp will be announced later.

The Roughnecks 10-week regular season begins on Saturday, February 8 at 4:00 pm CT when the team hosts the Los Angeles Wildcats at TDECU Stadium in a historic home opening game. Season tickets are on sale starting as low as $100 for the five-game home season at xflroughnecks.com.
